Thousands of academic journals, magazines, and newspapers are available on the online databases below, accessible in the library or remotely. Ask the Librarain about other sources.
Proquest has indexes for art, business, childhood, education, health, humanities, international, law, multicultural, psychology, sciences, social sciences, women's studies, and general interest (e.g. fashion, travel, hobbies). Use the Full-text and Scholarly Articles commands to narrow your search.
Ebsco indexes articles on a wide range of topics. To search all topics use Academic Search Elite. Specialized indexes cover business, nursing, health, education, military, and medical subject areas.
JSTOR provides hundreds of full-text journals going back as far as the 19th century.
Using Proquest, Ebsco, and JSTOR Outside the Library To access these databases you must install Citrix Metaframes on your computer. When you first attempt to log-in follow the prompts on the Citrix screen to download Citrix. After downloading Citrix re-enter the system and log-in with username and passwords available from LCJ Library.
